We are entering the year of the horse with intention, ritual and command.
Her story may have been distorted... but her lineage lives on in the breath of every woman.
Magdalene's Daughters
Her story may have been distorted... but her lineage lives on in women all over the world.

Magdalene's Daughters

In 591 CE, Mary Magdalene was recast and discredited as a repentant prostitute — a label the Catholic Church didn't formally retract until 1969.
But I went to high school in the 2000's and my teachers still taught that she was a fallen women, graciously forgiven and accepted by Jesus.
The Gospel of Mary, re-discovered in 1896, was never included in the Bible at all.
Gnostic tradition tells a very different story - a story of a priestess, an equal, a beloved to Jesus.
Why do you think one version won and the other was buried?
And who was she really?
Sinner... saint... repentant whore... holy concubine... priestess... myrrhophore... disciple... beloved... mother?
History couldn't decide. Perhaps that is because she was never meant to fit into just one box. (Is any woman, really?)
Join us to remember her together.
Because this isn't just history or even Magdalene's story... it's our story.
The story of the fall of the feminine... and her return.

Magdalene's Daughters
Has Magdalene been putting herself in front of you... trying to get your attention?

As my friend Susie Kim says: Jesus was my first love.
As early as I can remember my heart was pulled to God, the mysteries and all things magical. Religion was my entry point to spirituality but also to reverence, awe and unconditional love. I was so hungry to get close to God... but the closer I got to the teachings of the Catholic Church, the less it felt like love. By high school, I had stopped going to church.
I stopped using the word ‘God’ because it was too entangled with the distortion and corruption of organised religion. I began using words like ’Spirit’ and ’Source’ and ‘Universe’, but God was never the problem…
It was God who sent me into the strip clubs after I'd trained as a birth doula - to open my eyes to the connection between sexual shame, feminine suppression and birth trauma. It was God to sent me to corners of Life that the Church taught me to fear.
In my richest initiation yet, I saw how deeply the feminine body is shamed - the same body that creates, nurtures and births life. I was cracked open to the places women have been taught to repress: desire, money, eros, power, boundaries, ease and intuition - keeping us small and second-guessing ourselves. I discovered the truth that The Divine lives even in the places we’ve been taught to fear and I witnessed the magic that unfolds when a woman reclaims her full feminine truth.

Today, I work with women to stand rooted in their full feminine majesty - safe in their body, connected to their aliveness, and anchored in sovereignty.
Because you know, just as well as I do, that this world will be a safer place for all when The Feminine is returned to her rightful place: where she is deeply respected, trusted and revered.
A pleasure to serve you, wild one. Xx
